Starting April 2017, two new cross-border bus services will be introduced from Marina Square and Buona Vista in Singapore. Both services will be operated by Transtar Travel as reported in Shin Min Daily News.
The exact route details for the service to Marina Square, namely TS3, will be announced this March. As for the other service – TS6 – to Buona Vista, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Transtar Travel revealed that it will be plying the Second Link and will be introduced after April this year.
Apart from these new services, they also operate TS1 and TS8 to Johor Bahru from Changi Airport and Resorts World Sentosa respectively.
In view of improving the public transport connections between Singapore and Malaysia, Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) said that both countries agreed to add up to 10 new cross-border bus services since 2013.
Existing 13* cross-border bus services from nine locations are already available between Singapore and Malaysia, with average ridership of 70,000 passengers daily.
