11 New Bas Muafakat Johor Routes In Johor Bahru - Bus Interchange

Overview of Bas Muafakat Johor Bus Routes.

Eleven new Bas Muafakat Johor (BMJ) bus routes have been put in service in Johor Bahru since April 2017.

These new bus routes introduced are part of the expansion of the BMJ initiative by the Johor Public Transport Corporation - Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Johor (PAJ). The new routes were introduced in collaboration with City Councils in Johor Bahru (MBJB), Johor Bahru Tengah (MBJPT), Kulai (MPKu) and Pasir Gudang (MPPG)

Six BMJ bus routes are operated by Causeway Link and the remaining five by Maju.

Commuters will see new links to areas where direct public bus services are not available. A total of five new routes will offer free rides for commuters going to Larkin and JB Sentral, while the remaining six will operate in the suburbs.

The Bas Muafakat Johor initiative was first introduced in April last year in Johor Bahru, with 15 routes to enhance the public bus network around Johor Bahru. With this expansion, a total of 26 BMJ bus routes will be operating within Johor Bahru.

To be entitled with free bus ride, users of the Bas Muafakat Johor must register for the Muafakat Johor Card (Kad Muafakat Johor) from the official website here. The free bus services are only available for Malaysian citizens, whom have registered and received their travel card. For enquiries, please visit their website or call PAJ hotline at 1300-22-3700.
