From February 2019, commuters will be able to use free wifi on SBS Transit bus services 160, 170 and 170X.

In a bid to enhance commuter travel experience, free wifi will be made available on board more than 300 SBS Transit buses operating on 18 bus services in the Bukit Merah bus package, which include cross-border bus services 160, 170 and 170X to Johor Bahru.

Commuters are able to use the free wifi by connecting their device(s) and sign in to "#FreeWifi@SBST" on the buses. On successful log in, the log in page will notify that "You are now connected to the internet".
