Public bus routes connecting to various towns are available at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

Direct buses connects the mall with the following places (not limited to this list below) to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey:

  • Larkin
  • Permas Jaya
  • PPR Sri Stulang
  • Southern City

Unfortunately, bus services connecting directly to the mall is limited. Buses are available at JB Sentral to connect to other towns.

In this article, we will focus on public transport between the new mall and the main bus terminal at Larkin as well as the city center at JB Sentral by bus.


Getting there

From JB Sentral

JB Sentral is at the city centre of Johor Bahru, within walking distance from CIQ Johor Bahru or Johor Bahru Checkpoint / Custom.

Two bus services are available to travel to the mall, both routes will ply the same route from JB Sentral Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes.

myBAS T21

MyBAS T21 is the most convenient bus service that brings you to the bus stop outside The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey from JB Sentral Bus Terminal. Everyone is allowed to board myBAS route T21.

If you are a Malaysian citizen, or hold a Kad Muafakat Johor, you may opt to take bus route P102 for free.

Bas Muafakat Johor Bus P102

Malaysian citizens and cardholders of Kad Muafakat Johor can travel for free from JB Sentral Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. Please note that myKad or Kad Muafakat Johor must be presented upon boarding.

From Larkin

Larkin Sentral is a popular bus terminal for intercity express buses, as well as cross-border buses to Singapore. 

Bas Muafakat Johor P103

Malaysian citizens and cardholders of Kad Muafakat Johor can travel for free from Larkin Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. Please note that myKad or Kad Muafakat Johor must be presented upon boarding.

Alighting Points

There are two boarding and alighting points for buses serving The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

 

Bus stop outside the mall

If you are taking Bas Muafakat Johor P102 or P103, the bus will stop at the bus stop outside The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. As the entrance to the mall is not prominent, please follow the guide below to enter the mall.

Upon alighting from the bus, turn left and make your way to the building.

Follow the footpath into the building, signages are in place to guide visitors to the entrance of the mall. The signages should lead you to the door to a tunnel-like pathway.

At the end of the path, there is another door which links to the mall.

If you are taking Bas Muafakat Johor P102 or P103, proceed to the bus stop outside the mall.

Exit door leading to bus stop at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey

The door leading to the bus stop is located at Lower Ground (LG), beside GNC Live Well shop. A “Bus” signage is fixed before the exit door.

The door will lead to a tunnel-like pathway. At the end of the path, there is another door which leads to the loading and unloading area. Turn left and walk straight, you should see the bus stop on the right.

Bus P102, P103 and T21 will call at this bus stop for both directions.
