Sksbus SA12-300

RapidKL

First introduced in 2011 by Causeway Link (Handal Indah Sdn Bhd), the Causeway Link's Sksbus SA12-300 became a familiar sight in Johor Bahru, serving commuters on cross-border bus routes to Singapore and within local communities.

In 2017, a few newer Sksbus SA12-300 models equipped with Allison transmissions and Isuzu engines were briefly deployed on Bas Muafakat Johor routes in Batu Pahat, Kluang, and Simpang Renggam.

By 2018, numerous buses were reassigned to support the construction of the RAPID Pengerang project. Refurbished Sksbus SA12-300s emerged in 2018 and 2019 with new seats and a fresh coat of paint, replacing the original Causeway Link livery with smiley faces.

In 2021, some buses briefly operated on PJ Citybus routes PJ05 and PJ06 before being stationed in Kuala Lumpur for Smart Selangor Sepang routes, Kuala Selangor route KS02, and former Selangor Omnibus routes.

Since 2022, sightings of these buses in Johor Bahru have become increasingly rare, prompting excitement among bus enthusiasts when spotted.

On 1 June 2024, the Causeway Link's Sksbus SA12-300 made its debut on RapidKL routes T300 and T302, marking its reappearance at Bukit Indah (not in Johor Bahru, but Ampang, Selangor).

These buses have been leased to RapidKL following the retirement of older Volvo B7RLE buses while awaiting the arrival of the new fleet.
