Public bus routes connecting to various towns are available at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

Direct buses connects the mall with the following major towns (not limited to this list below) to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey:

  • PPR Sri Stulang
  • Pengerang
  • Sungai Rengit
  • Bandar Penawar
  • Pandan

In this article, we will focus on public transport between the new mall and the main bus terminal at Larkin as well as the city center at JB Sentral by bus.


Getting there

From JB Sentral

JB Sentral is at the city centre of Johor Bahru, within walking distance from CIQ Johor Bahru or Johor Bahru Checkpoint / Custom.

Three bus services are available to travel to the new mall, all three routes will ply the same route from JB Sentral Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes.

Signages have been put up on several City Bus 123 buses stating that the bus will go to Sogo at Mid Valley Southkey. Please note that the alighting bus stop is more than 1km away, which is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the mall. If you are travelling from JB Sentral, it is not advisable to take bus 123.

Causeway Link Bus MV2

Causeway Link Bus MV2 timetable and fares

Causeway Link bus MV2 is the most convenient bus service that brings you to the doorstep of The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey from JB Sentral Bus Terminal.

Boarding location: JB Sentral Terminal, along Jalan Jim Quee

Bus Fare: RM1.00

Alighting location: The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey North Court entrance (Taxi pick-up point)


Causeway Link Bus 808

Alternatively, Causeway Link bus 808 also connects JB Sentral Terminal and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. However, only two trips are operated daily. The bus routing is identical to the routing which MV2 plies.

Bas Muafakat Johor Bus P102

Cardholders of Kad Muafakat Johor can travel for free from JB Sentral Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. Please note that Kad Muafakat Johor must be presented upon boarding.

From Larkin

Larkin Sentral is a popular bus terminal for intercity express buses, as well as cross-border buses to Singapore. 

Causeway Link Bus 808

Causeway Link bus 808 connects Larkin Bus Terminal and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. However, only two trips are operated daily.

Boarding location: Larkin Bus Terminal

Bus Fare: RM2.40

Bas Muafakat Johor P103

Cardholders of Kad Muafakat Johor can travel for free from Larkin Terminal to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. Please note that Kad Muafakat Johor must be presented upon boarding.

Alighting Points

There are two boarding and alighting points for buses serving The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

North Court Entrance

If you are taking Causeway Link bus MV2, the bus will arrive at the North Court entrance at Ground level of the mall.

Bus stop outside the mall

If you are taking Causeway Link bus 808, Bas Muafakat Johor P102 or P103, the bus will stop at the bus stop outside The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. As the entrance to the mall is not prominent, please follow the guide below to enter the mall.

Upon alighting from the bus, turn left and make your way to the building.

Follow the footpath into the building, signages are in place to guide visitors to the entrance of the mall. The signages should lead you to the door to a tunnel-like pathway.

At the end of the path, there is another door which links to the mall.


Leaving the mall

North Court Entrance

If you are going to JB Sentral, take Causeway Link bus MV2 from the North Court entrance at Ground level of the mall, near San Francisco Coffee.

A “Taxi” signage is fixed leading to the pick up point. An information counter is also located near the entrance.

If you are taking Causeway Link bus 808, Bas Muafakat Johor P102 or P103, proceed to the bus stop outside the mall.

Exit door leading to bus stop at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey

The door leading to the bus stop is located at Lower Ground (LG), beside GNC Live Well shop. A “Bus” signage is fixed before the exit door.

The door will lead to a tunnel-like pathway. At the end of the path, there is another door which leads to the loading and unloading area. Turn left and walk straight, you should see the bus stop on the right.

Bus 808, P102 and P103 will call at this bus stop for both directions.
