The new Gelang Patah Bus Terminal will open on Sunday, 11 September 2016. All existing bus routes - 52T, 666, CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW4G, IM05, IM07 and LM1 - will call at this terminal. Existing bus stops at Taman Nusa Perintis along Jalan Gelang Patah will also be served by these buses.
Effective from Friday, 15 July 2016, bus services P101, P104, P105, P203, P303, P403 under the Bas Muafakat Johor scheme will be amended.
From 27 June 2016, weekend bus service SL2 from JB Sentral to Sutera Mall operated by Causeway Link will no longer be offered. The last day of service is on Sunday, 26 June 2016.
From 1 April 2016, fifteen Bas Muafakat Johor free city bus services will begin operations. With the introduction of Bas Muafakat Johor, bus commuters in Johor Bahru will see new connections or reintroduction of bus services in some areas without bus services. In this first phase of introduction, 30 buses will be wrapped with the new Bas Muafakat Johor branding and 15 bus routes will be rolled out.
New bus service CW7L had started operations from 29 February 2016. The new service run by Causeway Link will supplement existing bus services between Mall of Medini, Legoland and CIQ 2nd Link.
