New Transtar Cross-border bus service TS6A will start operations from Saturday, 1 December 2018, providing an additional connection between Singapore and Johor Bahru.
Transtar Cross-border TS6A will ply between Changi Airport and GP Sentral bus terminal, providing a new direct bus service from Changi Airport as well as an alternative of TS6 in the western areas such as one-north, Kent Ridge and Tuas Industrial Estate of Singapore to Johor Bahru (JB). TS6A also serves attractions such as Legoland Hotel, Mall of Medini and Puteri Harbour Ferry Terminal in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru.
A new timetable for cross-border bus service TS6A was uploaded on Transtar Travel's official website, revealing that the bus service will begin operating from Saturday, 1 December 2018.
On the same day, cross-border bus service CW7 operated by Causeway Link will also be introduced to provide alternatives between Tuas Link and Mall of Medini.
Similar to TS6, TS6A will make stops at One-north MRT and Kent Ridge MRT stations, before proceeding to the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) to call at bus stops near West Coast, Clementi, Pandan Gardens, Jurong Bird Park, then into Tuas Industrial Estate, calling at Gul Circle, Tuas West Road and Tuas Link MRT stations.
TS6A accepts payment for bus fare by cash and contactless Ez-Link Cards. An adult ticket from Changi Airport costs S$11 using Ez-Link card and S$12 using cash. On the return journey from Johor Bahru, an adult ticket costs S$8.50 using ez-link card and RM26 or S$9 using cash. The cost of a child ticket is half of an adult ticket.
Cash fares in Malaysian Ringgit will be accepted when boarding the bus at GP Sentral, Legoland, Mall of Medini, Puteri Harbour Ferry Terminal or CIQ Second Link.
